The grind never stops. Training hard, staying agile, and looking forward to participating in the next big competition!
Singapore Police Force & National Crime Prevention Council
Drafting the proposal for SecurePi, an interactive tech solution designed to protect seniors in Singapore from scams. The project focuses on creating an accessible product that educates and equips the elderly to better detect and avoid prevalent threats like phishing and investment scams. The prototype is being developed with a focus on senior-friendly UI/UX design and a React.js frontend built entirely with JavaScript.
The team is currently finalizing the project scope and implementation plan to pitch at the YCM Open Mic session. If shortlisted, we aim to secure up to $3,000 in seed funding to build and launch the SecurePi prototype for the community.
SCDF & Dell Technologies
Developed EchoSync, a privacy-first, AI-assisted pre-arrival intelligence and first response ecosystem designed to detect possible unwitnessed home emergencies in HDB environments. My role focused on UI/UX design, React.js frontend development, sensor-to-dashboard alert flow, and building interfaces that translate complex sensor signals into clear, explainable emergency alerts.
EchoSync was selected as a Top 5 Finalist out of 81 teams from 17 institutions. The final prototype included a SCDF-style dashboard, caregiver verification app, myResponder-style flow, multilingual voice check-in, risk scoring, and sensor-based emergency detection.
Nanyang Technological University
Competed in the inaugural 2026 edition focusing on AI for Good and Smart Cities. Developed a comprehensive 1,000-word proposal, technical pitch deck, and a 90-second video pitch. While the project was not selected for the finals, the rigorous ideation process directly established the foundation for the EchoSync architecture.
A privacy-first, zero-stigma IoT safety system powered by cloud AI. By cross-referencing thermal and acoustic signatures, it proactively detects elderly falls and health emergencies in real-time without relying on wearables or invasive optical cameras.
